august 23

we’ll be watching the second episode of “all watched over by machines of loving grace”. the second episode is about (among other things) the creation of the concept of the ecosystem.
the following week we will be discussing Call again (the ajoda version mostly, but read whatever version you can get or that you like), with increased scrutiny and the question of what would it be like to write something like that for the bay area…

plan for august 16

the plan is to show episode one of adam curtis’ new series – watched over by machines of loving grace.
this assumes that someone will show up who can get the video to work off of a usb key. sigh.
we think that the following week will be the second episode, but we won’t show the third episode because it is not good 🙁 .
